As part of the 2008 bond program for St. Vrain Valley School District, gkkworks, was commissioned to assist in the development of a conceptual design solution for the transformation of Skyline High School. Seeking a comprehensive vision, klipp facilitated several meetings with school leadership to develop a master plan to execute the new transformation for Skyline High School. As a school of choice, it will implement a new comprehensive science, technology, engineering, and math program with an existing, highly respected visual and performing arts program. Combining these programs within a single facility will create a unique opportunity designed to bring highly interactive, hands-on projects into the classroom and prepare for the 21st century workforce.
Recently honored by the Council of Educational Facility Planners International (CEFPI), Rocky Mountain Chapter for Outstanding Design for an unbuilt project.
