Our team provided architectural services in association with Nardi Associates for Phase I of the Richard J. Heckmann International Center for Entrepreneurial Management. The architecture subtly articulates the relationship between the building and the natural elements of the Coachella Valley. The 56,000 SF complex houses academic spaces that include two lecture rooms with adjacent break-out areas, seminar rooms, conference spaces, faculty and administrative offices, a café and related support spaces. The buildings radial plan organizes the academic spaces in a functional and desirable manner. The buildings form, orientation and fenestration create energy-efficient spaces that respect the suns presence and celebrate the pristine natural light of the desert.
