The $23.7 Million Outpatient Pavilion is a three story, 55,000 SF LEED Silver building with 8.6 acres of new parking and site work, on the existing campus of the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center. The building houses multiple outpatient and administrative services of the hospital to enable the facility to expand their current inpatient capacity as well as vacate space for future expansion. The building is the first phase of a broader master plan which made it highly scrutinized as a pilot project for future implementation.
One of the unique aspects of the implementation of this project was that a single entity performed both the design and construction. Under one roof, gkkworks team members have collaborated on many projects, enhancing a single point of responsibility, a natural collaboration and a "one team/one objective" attitude. Programs include hospital administration, education and training, physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, preoperative testing, women's health, exam, treatment, education, offices, pediatrics, neurology and outpatient.
