gkkworks is providing architecture for the project which is presently in construction with an anticipated construction completion of spring 2018. Interior design is provided by Design Force in close collaboration with the architect.

The upscale 201 guest room hotel at 222 Milwaukee Street in the urban mixed-use Cherry Creek North District. The modern architecture envisioned for the property will support a full service hotel containing a street level lobby accessed from 2nd Avenue and the on-site porto cochere. Other street level program areas include; guest registration, bar & lounge, dining and full service kitchen functions.

Future street level tenant uses is also provided at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Milwaukee Street. The hotel will provide valet service of 101 on-site parking located in 2 levels of below grade parking utilizing auto lift to achieve parking requirements. The second level accommodates 7,800 SF of conference and pre-function area, and athletic facilities. The conference areas open to engage the pedestrian character of the CCN District via a southern facing outdoor terrace fronting onto the two public streets.

The guestrooms are located on floors 2 through 8 and feature innovative open guest room floor plans and abundant daylight provided by the 8’x8’ exterior window. A rooftop terrace, which includes a regulation lap pool, is planned with panoramic views toward the Rocky Mountains. Due to the prominent location and scale of the hotel each of the 4 facades feature a primary aesthetic composed of glass window wall, stucco and architectural aluminum panels.
