Steve has more than 30 years of general construction administration, project management, and general contracting experience. In his role at gkkworks he has direct responsibility for the administration and supervision of pre-construction services. He oversees all of the company’s estimating, bidding, value engineering, constructability reviews, design-build, and risk management activities. He is a key participant in the management of design and construction integration whereby pre-construction support critically informs the design and construction process and outcome. Steve holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from California Coast University. He is a certified professional estimator and is an active member of the American Society of Professional Estimators, the Design-Build Institute of America, and the Construction Management Association of America. He is also the recipient of the Philanthropy Council Volunteer of the Year Award for his work in organizing trade contractors in the pro bono construction of several housing facilities for St. Clares Home, which cares for homeless and battered women and children.
