Mary Ruppenthal brings vast range of design, construction, project management and firm leadership experience with over 22 years of professional architectural practice in a variety of scales and sectors. Mary specializes in providing innovative, sustainably responsible, high performance and integrated educational environments that both elevate and enhance user experience and maximize efficiency.  As the offspring of a Contractor/Inspector father and a crafty and professional volunteer mother, a childhood surrounded by tools, drawings, handmade objects and social responsibility instilled a keen interest in design, building and an understanding of the necessary balance of poetry and precision in the built environment and the importance of community.

Mary is a licensed architect and has earned a Master of Architecture with Honors from the University of California - Berkeley in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee in 1995.     She is also a mentor for architecture and engineering students as a Board Member of the American Society of Engineers and Architects, Los Angeles Chapter (ASEA-LA) and Woodbury University Students Professional Practice Class.
