Hal Sibley is the firm's Regional Practice Leader for Healthcare and Higher Education. With more than 30 years’ experience as a practicing architect, Hal brings expertise in the planning, design and construction of healthcare, higher education, and science/technology facilities. He has led healthcare projects for Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center, Torrance Memorial Medical Center, First People’s Hospital in Shunde China, Arizona State University, Northern Arizona University, and UC Denver.

His organized, productive management style has been integral to the success of projects with challenging site, budget and scheduling issues. Believing people and projects are the building blocks of practice, Hal has a unique combination of hands-on project leadership and executive management skills. He has used these interpersonal and communication skills to create and direct high-performing teams focused on project and organizational success.

Hal’s professional and community involvement includes presiding as Co-Chair of the AIA Los Angeles Healthcare Committee, serving on the Healthcare and Education Committees for the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and serving on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House.
